Samsara
A downloadable game for Windows
Samsara is a point-and-click adventure in which Dr. Yakob accesses the Czarnecki manor house and chase the clues spread through the hall in order to find out the turbulent events that happened a some years ago behind the same elderly walls.
In 1972, the recently retired psychiatrist Yakob received a letter from Rama, notifying him of the death of his mother, Asha. Rama thanks him for his follow-up and treatment in Asha during his last years. But he also suggests that life is a cycle, and everything he gives he will end up receiving it, referring to the Buddhist concept of samsara. With this, Yakob decided to investigate further, what was for many villagers, one of the most unfortunate happenings the village had ever witnessed: the murder of the newborn Mstislav, in 1902 at the same house.
This project is the result of a fictional history which focus on the concept "samsara" as the cycle of death and renaissance, according to Hindu culture, which argues that the future of the person is conditioned by the actions they perform during their lifetime: the karma. Once they die, the reincarnate subject inherits the karma from the previous life. This process iterates until reaching the Mokxa.
Thanks to being here, you are breathtaking! Don't forget to report any bug or trouble you spot while playing the game! This is a Beta release since I'm improving the OST, FXs and some mechanics.
